We can act for you in dealing with disputes including advice, negotiation to resolve such disputes both before and during Court proceedings. Taking and defending Court proceedings on your behalf and advising you through out. Such disputes can cover many areas of Law but generally involve (contract) some breach of an alleged agreement [which does not necessarily have to be in writing] or (negligence) failure to carry out or do work to the required level, or disputes between neighbours regarding rights of way or boundaries etc, or disputes between Landlords and Tenants.
Personal Injury: we can act for you in claiming [or defending claims for] compensation for injuries suffered as a result of someone else’s negligence including Road Traffic accident, injury suffered at work or hospital/Doctors negligence and slipping and tripping accidents.
Please note that we do not deal with Criminal matters (including Road Traffic offences) or Employment Law.
Our fees: in certain circumstances [certainly for most personal injury cases] we can deal with such work on a “NoWin No Fee” basis and this would be fully explained and discussed with you at an initial meeting to see whether it would be appropriate for you. If this method of funding is not appropriate, then our fees would be based on an hourly rate agreed with you at the outset of the case and detailed to you in writing.
